The Northern Outpost of West Lancashire
 
After an uneventful train journey on the picturesque line around Morecambe Bay nine members from Chorley arrived at Dalton in Furness, just a short stroll to the Masonic Hall, a refreshing soft drink before the meeting commenced.
The train can't be long
Before the meeting started Michael Davies welcomed M.W.Bro. Tom Jackson and R.W.Bro. Bill Seddon to Dalton Masonic hoping they both enjoyed the work of the evening.

The first Ceremony was to admit to the Degree of St. Lawrence the Martyr Bro. Brian Ogden, this ceremony was carried out to a high standard by the Worshipful Master Michael Davies in his usual inimitable style the Lecture was carried out by the District Grand Senior Warden W.Bro. John Bicknell.

Michael Davies then invited W.Bro. Ray Lamb to undertake the admission to the Degree of Knight of Constantinople Bro. Michael Southworth, John Myers, Chris Band and Brain Ogden, the Lecture in this Degree was carried out by W.Bro. Geoff Catterall.
 
Following the meeting everyone present was treated to a sumptuous buffet followed by a well presented cheese board.

At the end of the meal, many members enjoyed convivial conversation whilst others started their journey home some by cat others walked to the railway station for the trip home, although tired everyone had enjoyed the day immensely.
